Preparation

Shower and shave prior to your appointment. Exfoliate your skin with a non-abrasive exfoliating scrub. Do not use a harsh exfoliate as it may cause small abrasions that can interfere with the evenness of the application. Do not use an oil based or moisturizing soap or exfoliating product.

Do not apply lotion, makeup, perfumes or any other products to your skin prior to your appointment as this may create a barrier between your skin and the solution. If deodorant must be worn carefully apply and avoid overspray.

Bring or wear dark loose fitting clothing to you appointment.
Aftercare

Your skin will look tan immediately following your session. It is important to remember this is only a cosmetic bronzer.

Wait a minimum of 8 to 10 hours before showering to give the Bella Sorrel sunless tanning solution time to fully develop.

Do not get your skin wet, apply anything to your skin or sweat excessively during this processing time.

After the 8 to 10 hours you may look darker than you expected. This is because the tan has now developed and the bronzers are still on your skin. Shower and wash gently. DO NOT scrub your skin. You will see the bronzers wash off, revealing your beautiful new tan. Gently pat dry and moisturize immediately.

Keep your skin hydrated by drinking water and applying a non-alcohol based moisturizer daily to extend the life of your sunless tan and help it fade evenly.

Touch up with Bella Sunless Self Tanning Spray as needed between sessions.
General Information

With proper care your airbrush tan should last 7 to 10 days. Your tan will fade slowly and naturally as your skin naturally exfoliates itself.

Avoid using products that contain a high alcohol content (toners) or petroleum based (baby oil) products on your skin.

Salt water, sand and chlorine are natural exfoliates and will shorten the life of your sunless tan. If you will be exposing your skin to these elements Bella Sorrel Sunless Tanning Spray should be used to touch up areas such as face, hands and feet to help extend the life of your tan.

Bella Sorrel sunless solution will not provide protection from UV light rays and a sunscreen should be applied if exposed.

7 to 10 days is recommended between airbrush tanning sessions. You must exfoliate prior to your next appointment to remove any previous tan.
